nolongeremptyandfrantic
...but still very much like a cat. It's moderately great to be back, though my room isn't yet set up or anything. I can get over a little displacement-sentiment if it means being away from home, as eager as mom is to drive up here, give me things, and clean my room.

Rewarding is seeing these chaps give Homogenic a 9.9, and OK Computer a sweet little 10. They're pretty brutal about the latest mid-90s regurgitation, though, to the irk of Jenny and myself. Don't you talk shit about my Nada Surf, you assholes. Reviews are always, always better when the reviewer is on the band's side, and apparently the big boys can't get over "Popular," tragically silly as it was. Oh well. Feburary 4th cometh the album, and the 20th cometh the band, in all their small-venue glory, to the Northstar Bar in Philly. Who wants to come with?

Looking forward to seeing you all...but especially You.

Go listen to OKC again, and count how many times your heart stops during "Let Down." Pure pefection, that.
