On The Dangers of Casual Napping...
Hard to believe I slept from 7:20 to 11 tonight, but hey, it's a lot better than playing video games. At least I can work now, should I ever elect to take the option. Things are getting a little dangeous around the apartment as far as my time is concerned. Napping is useless if you simply stay up for a really long time after you nap. Again, today, I did no work. Hard to believe, isn't it? Not a bit of it. The hardest thing I did outside of class was find my disk. I can't believe my own sloth. Truly legendary. There's no point posting about the tumult downstairs; it's so variable, it's like meteorlogy. Let's just call the whole thing bad weather and try to get to work again.

I cook again tomorrow, which sort of invalidates it as a day of work. I could be a big bitch and throw too much of it on Grace, but I'm not. Invariably, I'll piss away my evening not doing dishes, and feeling anchored to doing so. Hopefully, I won't, and I'll work and maybe just leave the common kitchen a total mess. Something like that.

It's good to have Jenn back in a real sense. It feels good to think about her again, to miss her, to wish she was around, to imagine her standing at the windows of my classes, to project her into my life again. That's not to say things are flawless again, but damned if they're not a marked improvement from abject discontentment.

Latest musical acquisitions: Daft Punk's Discovery, and The Faint's Danse Macabre. I'm pretty damn pleaed about the former, at the least. So much trashy dancy nonsense. I'm just glad to know the rest of it is at least close to as solid as the well-known songs, the One More Time, the Digital Love.

Song of the Moment: Dance Dance Revolution's Era. MAN, someone needs to make an extended mix of that shit. 1:32 of some of the better jungle on my computer could only be improved with length.
