[ breakthrough? ]
We join this conversation on the sticky issue of convincing my parents to allow a prescription for a concentration-aiding pharmaceutical already in progress...
radioheadgrrrrrl (10:33:23 PM): mmmm... i dunno
TrampolineClub (10:33:29 PM): I mean, it manifests itself the same way in terms of work.
TrampolineClub (10:33:45 PM): Whether or not I just procrastinate and don't give a damn, or whether I float.
TrampolineClub (10:33:52 PM): It's a fine point:
TrampolineClub (10:34:08 PM): Either way, it's hard for me to just sit with my work, and it's hard for me to stay there.
TrampolineClub (10:34:20 PM): But I think when I'm sitting with it, I'm not all THAT ADD.
TrampolineClub (10:34:23 PM): Just sort of.
TrampolineClub (10:35:39 PM): Who knows.
radioheadgrrrrrl (10:35:47 PM): *shrug*
radioheadgrrrrrl (10:36:04 PM): personally, i think you're taking your parents insults to heart
radioheadgrrrrrl (10:36:39 PM): and thinking that there's nothing physically wrong with you, you're just an underachiever
TrampolineClub (10:36:41 PM): I can become who they want me to more easily GIVEN HOW THEY TREAT ME through drugs anyway.
TrampolineClub (10:37:04 PM): I could fight whatever psychological distance-from-work that I have if they changed their entire way of regarding work.
TrampolineClub (10:37:08 PM): But they're not,
TrampolineClub (10:37:22 PM): So, I have "ADD," be it chemical or psychological.
radioheadgrrrrrl (10:37:37 PM): mm
TrampolineClub (10:37:40 PM): Hence moot point, thus, GIMME THE DRUGS.
radioheadgrrrrrl (10:37:44 PM): *laughs*
radioheadgrrrrrl (10:37:50 PM): ok kitty, we should both get back to work
TrampolineClub (10:37:54 PM): Easier to take a pill than make my parents supportive.
